6-7 September a regular republican fair of hand-crafted works “MASTER UZ” will be held in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan, in the hall “Culture and art expo” under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Uzbekistan.

The fair will be attended by a large number of Tashkent masters crafters showcasing all directions of the modern hand-made style as well as masters of traditional national applied arts from different regions of the republic: Bukhara, Samarkand, Shahrisabz, Fergana, Namangan and Chust. Ceramics, national embroidery and clothing, accessories, fabrics (satin, adras, silk and others), famous Chust knives, paintings, glass art, decoupage and patchwork, fashion jewelry and many other things will be presented.

During the fair, workshops will be held for children and adults on stained glass crafting, painting, ceramic painting, aroma toy crafting and decoupage. Each visitor will be able to buy gifts and souvenirs, taking a piece of the master’s emotional warmth.
Both experienced and beginning masters of folk arts and crafts are welcome to participate.
