News > Exhibition of icons in Paris
In December on the invitation of the Russian spiritual and cultural centre in Paris the international Association VATIKAM held an exhibition of icons of our project participants Vadim Plaksin and Aleksey Pechagin (Russia, Verkhnyaya Salda). The works aroused great interest of the invited guests and visitors of the exhibition.
The film «Birth of the Russian icon» was shown.
On request of the organizers and guests of the exhibition the President of the International Association VATIKAM Kamo Saakyan spoke before the beginning of the film.
Mr. Saakyan thanked the exhibition organizers for the invitation to participate in such an important event, told about the author of the exhibits Aleksey Pechagin, about the history and achievements of the Association VATIKAM and plans of further growth of the Association.
As a result of the exhibition Mr. Saakyan received invitation to hold an exhibition of icons by Vadim Plaksin and Aleksey Pechagin in the city of Nice in 2018.
We sincerely congratulate to the masters for high achievements and wish him further success!
