Contest «Architecture and interior design»

International Association  VATIKAM is starting a new contest for interior designers and architects dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday. We remember him as a great artist and sculptor, forgetting that he held the position of an architect at the court of King Francis I. Leonardo da Vinci worked on the design of an ideal city with multi-tiered streets, among his projects were sketches of the fortress tower and the design of the dome of the Milan Cathedral. The famous Chambord Castle in France was built according to the Leonardo da Vinci’s plan.

Now low-rise construction and private houses are becoming increasingly popular with people who are exhausted by crowding and noise of megacities.  Therefore we decided to hold a contest of architectural and interior projects specifically for private houses.

For the contest  are accepted portfolios containing your architectural solutions for private houses, as well as interior design projects and landscape design of the house territory.

Participants: all interested persons registered on the website of the International Association VATIKAM.

Contest start date: May 01, 2021.
End date of placement of works for the contest: June 24, 2021.
Voting end date: June 24, 2021.
Date of determining the results of the contest: June 24, 2021.

The contest is held in the categories: «Architecture», «Interior design» and «Landscape design».

To participate in the contest it is necessary to:

• be a registered member on the website of the project VATIKAM;
• be sure to fill in all the personal data in your profile;
• create a new separate portfolio for the contest «Architecture and interior design»;
• place examples of your works in the portfolio;
• be sure to check the box next to the field «Participates in the contest «Architecture and interior design».

The contest involves one portfolio from each participant, which may contain from three to thirty examples of works. After the completion of the contest «Architecture and interior design» the portfolios specially created for this contest continue to participate on a common basis in the main contest of the project VATIKAM «Best works of 2021».

The laureates of the first three awards are the participants whose portfolios have received the maximum number of votes over the entire period of the contest. The winners of the contest are awarded with special diplomas from the International Association VATIKAM of the first, second, third degree. The best examples of works chosen by the Administration of the VATIKAM project will be placed on the main page of our website in the form of a banner.
